Joshua G. Kuntz is the Chief Information Security Officer for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation which provides occupational licensing and consumer safety regulation of approximately 1 million licensees. Having 28 years of public service including six in the U.S. Marine Corps and 22 years of State Service in several roles; Josh has diverse experience in physical & information security, IT management & governance, resiliency planning, budgeting, regulatory compliance, legislative analysis, contracting & procurements, personnel management, mission/vision/values/goals development, controls auditing, and risk management.

He served eight years with Texas Dept of Public Safety managing the statewide Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) satellite network. Three years with Texas Juvenile Justice Department as their first Information Security Officer. Developing their security program and shepherding it through three audit cycles. Seven years with Texas Dept of Motor Vehicles as their first Information Security Officer. Creating the security program while the agency was separating their network, application, and server environments from TxDOT. And four years as the CISO for the Texas Workforce Commission, securing over 8500 staff endpoints and systems providing employment, vocational rehabilitation, early childhood education, and unemployment benefit services to the citizens of Texas. Josh was also called upon to serve as interim Chief Information Officer and interim Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office when each of those divisions experienced a sudden leadership transition.

Josh earned his degree in criminal justice and his (ISC)2 Certified Information System Security Professional certification in 2012. Additionally, he is a 2018 graduate of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin Executive Leadership for Information Technology Excellence program. 

Borys Schafran serves as VP Sales & Marketing for Jayhawk Fine Chemicals Corporation, recently integrated with CABB Group GmbH, a leading fine chemical custom manufacturer.  He has over 35 years of commercial and technical experience, most notably with Evonik and AkzoNobel.  Borys holds an MS in Polymer Science & Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering, both from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, formerly known as Polytechnic University.  He is a subject matter expert on business architecture and digital marketing strategy.

Peter Watkins has over 30 years of experience in executive and operational leadership in the technology industry addressing enterprise and consumer markets. His experiences range from start-ups to mid-size organizations to public companies managing global operations with thousands of employees. Peter also has worked as a senior advisor to private equity firms developing and implementing strategic investment initiatives in the security market. Most recently, he has been part of the founding team of several successful start-ups. Peter earned a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
